Hi! I'm Meredith and I'm so happy you stopped by.  This website serves as a portfolio highlighting my favorite writings and designs from my four years Samford University, as well as recent professional projects.  My hometown is Franklin, Tennessee, but I recently made the move to Sarasota, Florida, and have a deep love for visiting new places.  During college, I had the opportunity to travel to Haiti, Mexico, Peru, and Ireland!

My professional endeavors and studies at Samford University gave me an impressive range of experience, but the one recurring theme is storytelling.  I have an enthusiasm for creative storytelling, both through word and imagery, and my visual eye for design brings communication strategies to life.  While I have a broad array of skills, my specialty is representing an organization through cohesive branding, writing, and creating effective marketing content.  Currently I am contracted with Experience SRQ as the Communications Coordinator where my daily tasks entail script-writing for YouTube, managing both Facebook and Instagram accounts, as well as assisting with administrative tasks.  I am most proud of the 30-page Sarasota Relocation Guide I designed and co-wrote.

 

My passions include ethical orphan care, visual design, creative writing, and community engagement.  In the rare times I'm not hard at work, you may find me hanging out with friends, picnicking in the park, attending a local concert, or reading on the beach.
